This page explains how All Video Downloader & Browser handles your data, and the terms you accept by installing and using the app.
Introduction
All Video Downloader & Browser ("the App") is built and maintained by an independent individual developer ("the Developer", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App interacts with when you browse and download content, and how it is handled. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
The App is designed to do its work on your device, not on our servers. Specifically:
- Device information — general details such as device model, Android version, and language, used only to keep the App compatible and to diagnose crashes.
- Browsing activity — pages you open in the built-in browser are loaded and rendered on your device. We do not view, log, or store your browsing history on any server.
- Download activity — files you choose to download are saved to the storage location you select on your own device. Your download history stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
- Permissions — the App requests: Internet & network/Wi-Fi state (to load pages and download files), Storage & Read Media Video (to save and access downloaded videos), Notifications (to alert you about download status), Wake Lock (to keep a download running), Vibrate and Boot Completed (to resume queued downloads after restart), and Request Delete Packages (for in-app update/uninstall prompts). Each is used only for its stated function.
We do not collect passwords, payment details, government IDs, or other sensitive personal documents through the App.
Third-Party Content & Websites
The built-in browser lets you visit third-party websites you choose to navigate to. Those websites have their own privacy policies, content, and data practices, which are entirely outside the Developer's control. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site you access through the App.
How Information Is Used
Any technical data described above is used solely to keep the App running, fix bugs, and improve compatibility across devices. If the App displays advertisements through a third-party ad network, that network may collect data under its own privacy policy, separate from this one.
Third-Party SDKs & Advertising
The App uses services from Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, AdMob, Play Install Referrer, In-App Review, User Messaging Platform), Meta (Audience Network, Facebook SDK), and OneSignal (push notifications). These SDKs may collect device identifiers, crash logs, and usage/ad data under their own privacy policies, to show ads, send notifications, measure installs, and help fix crashes. We don't control how these third parties process that data.
Storage & Security
Downloaded files and browsing data are stored locally on your device, not uploaded to any server owned by the Developer. You are responsible for securing your own device (screen lock, storage permissions, antivirus) since locally stored files are only as safe as the device they sit on.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and it will be removed where applicable.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the App evolves. Updates are posted on this page only — you will not receive an individual notification when a change is made, so please check back periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using All Video Downloader & Browser, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.
What the App Does
The App combines a web browser with a media downloader, letting you browse pages and save media that you choose to download to your own device. The Developer does not host, upload, store, or distribute any content — the App is only a tool that acts on pages and files you direct it to.
Your Responsibility for Downloads
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to browse and download using the App, including making sure you have the legal right or permission to download it, and that doing so does not violate any copyright, the source website's own Terms of Service, or any applicable law.
The Developer does not review, verify, or control the content available on third-party sites, and accepts no responsibility or liability for any content you download, how you use it afterward, or any claim, notice, or dispute (including copyright claims) that results from your use of the App.
"As-Is" Performance — No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The App may sometimes freeze, crash, show errors, load slowly, fail to browse a page, or fail to complete a download — this is normal behaviour for software and is not a defect the Developer guarantees to prevent.
The App is built and maintained by a single independent developer, not a large company with a dedicated support team. The Developer is human, works on the App in their own time, and — like anyone writing software — can make mistakes. Every reasonable effort is made to keep the App working well, but uninterrupted, error-free operation cannot be promised.
If the App Freezes, Won't Respond, or Won't Uninstall
Occasionally an app can stop responding, get stuck on a screen, not let you go back, or seem hard to close or remove — usually caused by device memory, storage, or the operating system, not something the Developer can control remotely. If this happens:
- App frozen or not responding: open your device's Recent Apps / App Switcher and swipe the App away, or go to Settings → Apps → All Video Downloader & Browser → Force Stop.
- Can't go back or exit a screen: use your device's Home button/gesture to leave the App, then reopen it, or Force Stop it as above and relaunch.
- Want to remove the App: long-press the App icon and choose Uninstall, or go to Settings → Apps → All Video Downloader & Browser → Uninstall.
The Developer is not responsible for time lost, inconvenience, or any other consequence caused by the App becoming unresponsive, stuck, or difficult to close or remove — these situations are handled at the device/operating-system level and are outside the Developer's control.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, without limitation, loss of data or downloaded files, device issues, financial loss, or any legal claim connected to content accessed or downloaded through the App.
You use the App entirely at your own risk and discretion.
Ongoing Development & Fixes
The Developer regularly works to improve the App and fix reported issues, but does not guarantee that every bug will be fixed, or fixed within any particular time frame. Updates are released as time and resources allow.
Indemnification
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Developer from any claim, demand, or liability — including reasonable legal costs — arising from your misuse of the App, any content you download, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the state where the Developer is based.
Changes, Suspension & Termination
The Developer may update these Terms, or modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature, at any time without prior notice and without liability to you. Changes are reflected on this page only; you will not be individually notified, so please review it periodically.
